Allllrighty…I’m getting emails asking when I’ll be posting some of my England pics, so here goes.
First up, my first walk into London. We walked past the London Eye (huge Ferris wheel), then walked down the Thames. Here is our view of Parliament and Big Ben across the river (yes, I know Big Ben refers to the bell and not the clock or tower itself), and a pic standing at the foot of Big Ben whilst it was ringing 4pm:
Remembering that they drive on the LEFT side of the road in England (and we had some very interesting discussions as to WHY that is done–and it makes sense!), the very polite English even give you reminders when you’re crossing the street to look to the RIGHT:
Also, when you’re crossing, the little walking sign is different. This guy looks very masculine!
