"Men give up too easily"

I speak to all sorts of groups around the country of various backgrounds and religious denominations. The consistant theme I hear from the gals is that “men aren’t men anymore. They’re wimps!”

The gist of the conversations were that men don’t “pursue” women anymore. They don’t try to court a gal or “woo” her. They just sit back and look…

I explained to the gals that it may be because women are too aggressive. They make it too easy for a guy. When a guy offers them help they say, “No thanks, I can handle it.”

So what came first?

Ultimately, it doesn’t matter. What is important is “What do we do now? How do we fix it?”

First of all, let men be men. If they offer help, be humble enough to accept it.

Also, gals need to let the men be the pursuer. Remember what your mother told you? “Girls don’t call boys.”

I’ll update that. “Young ladies do not text message, email, or phone boys.” (Unless responding.)

Don’t be so quick to give out your cell phone number or email address!

You laugh? Call me old fashion?

Listen to what Pamela Anderson (former ‘Baywatch’ babe and Playboy bunny) has to say in this article:

“There’s not a lot of chivalry anymore and there’s not a lot of real passion and people pursuing.’

Pamela, who recently dated hunky actor Stephen Dorff, says Motley Crue rocker Tommy knew the right way to win her heart.

She told US talk show ‘Larry King Live’: ‘One thing with Tommy was he followed me down to Cancun in Mexico, and he asked me to marry him in four days.

‘It was romantic, it was whirlwind-y and that’s what every girl wants. They want to be chased. Not stalked, but chased.’”

There you have it.
