For those people who think Rick Perry will be so great as president, this is proof otherwise. Make no mistake, I, who had the good sense to NOT vote for Obama three years ago, will not vote him next year. However, I will also not vote for Rick Perry either.

I found the book “The HPV Vaccine Controversy: Sex, Cancer, God and Politics” authored by Shobha S. Krishnan, M.D, Barnard college, Columbia University, very useful. It is written without the influence of any pharmaceutical companies or special interest groups. The book educates both professionals and the public about HPV infections, the diseases they cause and the role/ controversies surrounding the new vaccines. The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA, June 17th 2009) calls the book superb and a terrific contribution to the field. Why don’t they play fair and tell the public how HPV is actually transmitted – through sex. Why don’t they include the fact that the contact by which it is transmitted makes condom use ineffective. I would think that they owe the public honesty in regards to the manner in which cervical cancer is caused by HPV. This would require responsibility and the acknowledgement that a culture that promotes sexual activity in its youth is responsible for the effects – cervical cancer – as well. Our world has shut its eyes to immorality and the consequences. How I wish they would tell the truth instead of telling people to give their children a shot and don’t worry about it!

An excellent article, which shows the vaccine industry at its typical worst. Two years ago Merck even bought Rick Perry, the governor of Texas, who made the vaccine mandatory for all girls in public schools. The citizens of Texas, confident they were not living (as yet) in communist China, through their reps overrode the measure, but it sent everyone into a panic, as you know.

And now, 32 girls are dead. And we hear that they may have gotten no health benefit from the shot at all, not to mention the lives destroyed by illness. It just shows you not to jump on the bandwagon in a season with any new health fad or treatment, and to watch the money behind such efforts. No one can protect your child but you.
