Pat Buchanan feels that Miers is a ‘gracious lady’, but that Bush’s reasons for nominating an unqualified person for the job was pure cronyism. He makes a lot of other good observations.
And World Net Daily reports that Miers, “is on record as supporting the establishment of the International Criminal Court, homosexual adoptions, a major local tax increase and women in combat.”
So it appears that neither the Left or the Right support this attorney from Texas.
