Meditation for the Morning
Let us adore Our Lord Jesus Christ praying to His Father so perfectly that no distraction turns Him away from it, and, at the same time, often with so much distress that He falls into an agony; but this agony, instead of making Him give up prayer, only excites Him to prolong it all the more (Luke 22:43). Oh, what an admirable example! How happy the soul that is faithful enough to imitate it!

Meditation for the Morning
Let us adore Our Lord teaching us to esteem small things by means of His beautiful answer to the Pharisees, who, whilst violating justice and charity, were faithful in paying the tax for the commonest little vegetables. It was a duty to be faithful to these small observances, He said to them, but at the same time it was necessary to be exact in regard to more serious obligations (Matt. 23:23). Let us thank Him for this lesson and ask of Him grace to profit by it.

Since I viewed the first trailer, I’ve been saying that the Twilight series was another step in the de-Christianization of our culture…but I had no idea how bad really it was! I’m with this reviewer….I WAS TOO KIND BEFORE!
