Meditation for the Morning
Let us adore Jesus Christ performing all actions for the glory and the good pleasure of His Father. He never did anything except with this object (John 8:29), and it was to that all His thoughts, all His words, and all His actions tended. (Ibid.) Modesty isn’t just about the clothing we wear, but our interior disposition as well. What is our intent? Why do we balk about dressing in a more dignified manner?
