No, this is not a joke. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told musicians and creative types that, thanks to the new health-care law, they could quit their jobs and focus on developing their talents because taxpayers will fund their health-care.
Pelosi says in the clip below that the health-care bill is an “entrepreneurial bill” that says to someone that, if you want to be creative and be a musician or whatever, you can leave your work, focus on your talents and aspirations and you WILL have health care. You won’t be job locked.
