State Catholic women’s conference set

The fifth annual Oklahoma Catholic Women’s Conference will be at Feb. 5 at Clarion Conference Center, 737 S Meridian.

The conference will include morning Mass with Archbishop Eusebius Beltran. Vendors, including local bookstores, artists and rosary makers, will be on hand.

Speakers will include Colleen Hammond, Marge Fenelon and Sharmane Adams.

Fenelon, author and CatholicMom.com contributor, will talk about the Virgin Mary in a presentation titled “She’s My Mother, and She’s Your Mother Too!”

Contemporary Christian recording artist Adams will discuss her life-changing experience during Lent 1997 in a talk called “Leap of Faith.”

Hammond, a former Weather Channel meteorologist and current host of “St. Joseph Radio Presents,” will give presentations titled “The Family: A Sacred Calling” and “Love, Honor… and Obey?”

Registration begins at 7 a.m., and Mass will be at 8 a.m. The conference will begin at 10 a.m.
