Couple Having Internet VOTE on Whether or Not They ABORT Their Child

UPDATE: Jill Stanek thinks it’s a publicity stunt.

Life News has picked up the “stunt” story, too.

I’m not sure which is more disgusting: A couple who would put the life of their child up to for vote, or a couple who would pretend and do it as a publicity stunt? My stomach is churning…

+++

I’m not kidding. They’ve even posted pics of their OB visits and ultrasounds.

I won’t even get into my personal feelings of disgust about having the Internet decide whether or not you murder someone…

Right now, “Have an Abortion” has taken the lead over “Give Birth”. December 9th is the cut-off. Please share this and ‘get out and vote’. As the pregnant couple state below–America calls in their vote to American Idol or Dancing with the Stars. So don’t be shy about voting for the life of their baby.

More from Birth or Not:

The abortion issue has been a controversial topic for decades that reaches to the core of every person in America.  Often voters will even base their entire choice on this one topic alone, disregarding everything else the politician has to offer in the vain hope that their “chosen one” will be able to effect change on this issue.

We all like to think that our opinions matter, but so often there is no effective outlet for our beliefs to change lives.  While most people have a definite opinion about abortion and take a stance as being either “Pro-Life” or “Pro-choice”, very few have an opportunity to do more than voice their concern to their elected representative.  The concerns that we voice to those around us don’t seem to change the status-quo. Unless you are put into the position of having to make this decision in a setting that actually makes a difference, the debate does not affect anything.

Voting is such an integral part of the American identity.  We vote on everything.  We vote on things ranging from the best singer on American Idol to who the next leader of the free world will be.  Wouldn’t it be nice to voice your opinion and have it actually make a difference in the real world?  Why not vote on whether to continue or abort an actual pregnancy? Your vote can help a real couple to make a decision on this issue.

We would like to keep you informed on our pregnancy as if it was your own; posting our thoughts and feelings as we struggle to m ake this decision.  We would like you to see what we see and feel what we feel.  We invite you take this journey with us as we contemplate our own options and encourage you to utilize this site to vote and voice your opinion in a way that will have a real consequence… in a way that truly matters.

Here, your vote will not go unheard.

  1. Please, regardless of what may be wrong, let the baby live. Besides God, someone will love & care for this child.

  2. Thou Shall not Kill. This covers everything. Love Thy neighbor as thyself. Have a heart!

  3. I vote birth

  4. I cant believe anyone would even take part in this , it is real they should have the child taken from them at birth

  5. I completely agree with having the baby. I believe that not ONE baby is a mistake, and that you became pregnant for a reason:) Please let this child be a blessing to you, or at least to someone else. One side note: If you look at the statistics of mothers who decided to abort, they suffer an enormous amount of guilt, heartache, and regret…maybe not right away, but eventually. I am also trying to look out for you and your partner’s emotional well-being, I wouldn’t want you to suffer either. Lastly, if for some reason this vote ends up being for abortion, but you end up having a change or heart and want to have the baby, then PLEASE don’t let the peer pressure of’ ‘going with the flow’ deter you from having that precious baby! It’s still your life and not everyone else’s…you are the ones who will have to live with that decision, not us. Thank you for reading this.

  6. Please choose birth. My husband and I will adopt the baby if you don’t want he or she. We are talking about having a 4th baby. I don’t want to go through the pregnancy again.(life/death issues for me) Please… give birth!
We will take the baby. No strings attached!

  7. Birth, only birth. She can put up for adoption.

  8. Couple Having Internet VOTE on Whether or Not They ABORT Their ……

Here at World Spinner we are debating the same thing……

  9. She should give birth to her child. That she and her husband would even think to do this, much less leave it to others to decide, defies words, it’s so evil.
