First, this story about a man carrying an AR-15 rifle outside the Phoenix Convention Center, where President Barack Obama was speaking, with the following pics:

"Because I can do it," Chris said when asked why he brought guns to the rally at 3rd and Washington streets. "In Arizona, I still have some freedoms left."

Arizona is an "open-carry" state, which means anyone legally allowed to have a firearm can carry it in public as long as it's visible. A permit is required if the weapon is carried concealed.
Once you’ve viewed the pics, watch/listen to this MSNBC story. They edit the pictures you see here, which clearly show an African American man with an AR-15 strapped to his waist. Yet the reporter whines about “racial overtones” and states, “A man of color in the presidency, and white people showing up with guns strapped to their waists…”
Hat Tip to Hot Air and Michelle Malkin.

Colleen, thanks for posting a very important story. I have linked and posted it as well.
Tremendous, Tim! Yellow journalism is a blight on society.
I recently witnessed a similar situation of misrepresentation on another channel. I spend the next couple weeks watching their commercials and logging the companies that paid to advertise. I then began contacting these companies and expressed my displeasure that they would sponsor such an irresoponsible network. The network pulled the episode shortly thereafter.
Hit them where it hurts most, the pocketbook.
