I thought the online preparatory course for parents was a great idea. I have a college degree, and am close to getting my Masters … and yet I had to review A LOT to pass the MTTC, the basic test required to start teacher certification. This was junior-high level math . . . and still I (initially) struggled.

Having a preparatory exam for parents could be helpful to them, to give them an idea of where they need to polish up a bit. And it’s good for our kids to see us learning right along with them!

The online brush-up for parents piqued my curiosity as well, Heidi. I recently had to take a “math evaluation” test and passed with flying colors. The proctor was amazed, but I told her it was all review from teaching my High School aged children their math!!!
