In the same way that people become desensitized to violence, men who grow up seeing immodestly dressed women become desensitized to them being “fully three dimensional humans”.
Is all of this why there has been an increase in violence against women these past few decades?
Full story here.
Professor Susan Fiske, of Princeton University, told the American Association for the Advancement of Science annual meeting that she believes that the results show that some men did not see sexualised women as a “human”.
“I am not saying that they literally see them as an object, of course they know she is human,” she said.
“But what the brain scans show is that they are reacting to this photograph as people react to objects. It is as if they are not fully human.
“They are not treating them as fully three dimensional humans.”

If females are insistant on believing pants are more modest than skirts and dresses, how come when females wear pants, it doesn’t take a pervert to notice her, as they say in Great Britain, “bum”?
Colleen, I saw your blog asking, “Should Christian women wear bikinis?”, and the answer is a resounding “NO”!
As a Catholic and a scientist…I like tht science has proved, what Popes of the past have been saying all along. I remind everyone, my colleagues and myself. Science is merely a tool to understand the physical world God created for us. And the Holy Spirit which guides the Church, knows all about us in every conceivable way…and then some… which is why we are meant to dress modestly. Hence the teachings of the Church.
