  1. Excellent and important post.

  2. What is up with the picture at the top? That girl in the window looks like she isn’t modestly dressed…???

  3. I am in complete agreement that “dolled up” men are not attractive (though that’s just my opinion). But I think maybe women might have more of a problem than not with a muscular (natural looking guy) who is shirtless, or even one wearing a thin cotton shirt. That is just my opinion though.

  4. The speaker (a priest?) on the video sounds like he’s trying to be “cool” with the vernacular he’s using. I think he was getting a little too close to the line of expressing himself in a church (is it Catholic Church?) before the Blessed Sacrament in mixed company. JMO

  5. I was at a bed and breakfast this weekend and a young handsome man came out of the communal bathroom in just a towel. OH MY did I blush -the worse part was that my husband noticed me blush and quickly turn the other way and he couldn’t help but tease me the rest of the day for it.

As for male modesty- with the exception of male’s in towels I don’t think there is a whole lot they can do to discourage lust in women. Women are more aroused by the aura of status and sophistication and a nice chiseled bone structure on the face. Unless we put the men in burqa’s their isn’t much they can do to help us stay pure.

  6. I’m a tad late finding this post, but I must say that the male back and sometimes even the chest can be extremely enticing and I greatly appreciate it when men are fully clothed in my presence although I try to avoid wondering eyes and avert my face when a man isn’t fully dressed. Of course, eyes are usually the first thing I notice as the men I know on a personal nature always dress modestly in my presence.
