Our friend Tim at St. Louis Catholic has a fabulous round up and reflection for today. Portion below:
Today marks the third anniversary of the great Apostolic Letter given motu proprio, Summorum Pontificum. Today marks three years of steps on the long road back. May God abundantly bless Pope Benedict XVI for this heroic act of justice. May God bless the souls of all who worked to bring it about. May God grant eternal rest to those faithful warriors of the faith now passed away, who fought to keep the Mass alive. And may God have mercy on … Read the rest

Vatican City, (CNA).- The Vatican daily L’Osservatore Roman (LOR) published an article this week on a meeting of the international theological and cultural review “Communio,” which was founded 38 years ago by Hans Urs von Balthasar, Henri de Lubac and Joseph Ratzinger. The text highlights the Holy Father’s perspective on the Second Vatican Council, its importance in the history of the Church in continuity with tradition and the concept of the ecclesiology of “communion” as it relates to “mission.”
Today, notes the article’s author … Read the rest

Model and Patroness of a Family, a Wife, a Mother, and a Mystic.
I have a strong devotion to Bl. Anna Maria Taigi. She has blessed our family with one major miracle and a number of “tiny” ones. She is truly an example of a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an accurate and amazing mystic. I’m excited to announce, too, that more information on her canonization is coming soon!
Here’s the official website for Bl. Anna Maria Taigi run by the Vice Postulator for her cause (Fr. Michael Pintacura).
Read some of her many miracles here… Read the rest

The Institute is pleased to offer a unique opportunity to children age 9-15: a completely immersive experience in Catholic choral music and musicianship. The splendid campus of the Ursuline Motherhouse of Mount Saint Joseph in Kentucky will provide the ideal setting for the camp.
Choristers who attend the choir camp will enter a world of daily prayer and music-making, including singing two masses, with their fellow campers. The personal musical advancement the choristers make will be comparable to a full year of standard weekly choir rehearsals. Classes are taught by practicing Catholic musicians.… Read the rest
