Another Update on My Dad

He did some treatments and is now enjoying time at home with my Mum…managing his pain and having good and bad days. Dad is offering up his suffering for a special intention, so he asks for prayers that he can suffer well. He has also asked for prayers for my Mum. Isn’t that so thoughtful of him? He’s so concerned about everyone around him and not for himself. I LOVE MY DAD!!!

Women Boxers Wear Skirts to be Elegant–WHAT?!?

“By wearing skirts, in my opinion, it gives a good impression, a womanly impression,” Poland coach Leszek Piotrowski told BBC Sport. “Wearing shorts is not a good way for women boxers to dress. At the world championships in Barbados, Romania wore skirts from AIBA. We decided to design our own, they’re more elegant.”

Novena for El Paso, Texas

The parishioners of San Juan Bautista in El Paso, Texas used to have Fr Michael Rodriguez as their pastor, but the Bishop moved Father 250 miles away and they no longer have the Traditional Latin Mass. They’ve asked that we join them in this “Novena to Christ the King” which starts tomorrow.

Pontifical Council Calls for “central world bank”!?

Asked at a news conference if the document could become a manifesto for the movement of the “indignant ones”, who have criticised global economic policies, Cardinal Peter Turkson, head of the Vatican’s Justice and Peace department, said: “The people on Wall Street need to sit down and go through a process of discernment and see whether their role managing the finances of the world is actually serving the interests of humanity and the common good. “We are calling for all these bodies and organisations to sit down and do a little bit of re-thinking.”

Cut Off the Catholic Campaign for Human Development

CCHD is corrupt and needs to be cut off. After being exposed last year, the CCHD promised to stop funding these groups. Instead, the CCHD is now sponsoring MORE organizations that promote abortion, birth-control, and same-sex marriage.
