Homeschooler Helps: Kahn Academy!
A non-profit, Khan Academy offers students an extensive video library, practice exercises, and assessments from any computer with access to the web. Their library of videos covers K-12 math, science topics such as biology, chemistry, and physics, and even reaches into the humanities with playlists on finance and history. Each video is a digestible chunk, approximately 10 minutes long, and especially purposed for viewing on the computer.

How to Make an Examination of Conscience
Today we will meditate upon the manner of making the examination of conscience, and we shall see: first, the character of this examination; second, the acts which ought to accompany it. We will then make the resolution: first, to observe in our examination the rules laid down by the saints; second, to bring to it above all a sincere regret for our sins and a firm resolve to correct them. Our spiritual nosegay shall be the words of King Ezechias: “I will recount to Thee all my years in the bitterness of my soul.” (Is. 38:15)

Must We Do a DAILY Examination of Conscience?
As the first condition for confessing properly is thoroughly to examine our conscience, we will consecrate the following meditation to this examination. We will consider today: first, the importance of a daily examination of the conscience; second, the importance of the examination preparatory to confession. We will then make the resolution: first, every evening to perform with exactitude the examination of our conscience; second, to exercise special care in preparing ourselves well before confession. Our spiritual nosegay shall be the words of the Psalmist: “I have thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto Thy testimonies.” (Ps. 118:59)
